Obama Repeats Opposition to NASA's Budget Level

As he has stated on his website, Barack Obama repeated his plans to cut NASA funding in an interview on NPR. Tell him not to.

Once again, the only thing he specifically mentions is targeting NASA. The Constellation Program is already vastly under budgeted. "Defering" the program is the same thing as destroying the program. Destroying the program is the same thing as destroying what little technological lead the U.S. has left in the world. How does he figure destroying the biggest driver of technology in this nation to be a good thing and why is this the only source he can find to fund his pet project? He is ignorant and naive and I wish all the people who support him for his so called change, would wake up and smell what he is shoveling. Any person who works in the Aerospace sector and votes for him will deserve their layoff notice when it comes.

We must have educated Kids to understand the Space Program in the first place. That is what he is looking to fund is Education. Please go get yourself some with his new funding.

This is not a question of priorities at NASA. This is a question of negligence in Washington. Over 1 Billion is spent in Iraq each week and we are starving the very agency that has given us the ability to fight wars, perform modern operations, communicate globally, etc.

Obama is a weak leader who spends all his time telling us about all that's wrong, but he spends very little time telling us anything tangible about what he WILL do. He's babbling about mindless-nothingness in order to appear semi-informed about important issues. This reminds me of the Star Trek episode in which the "leader" was drugged, and was a puppet responding with the words of manipulators behind the scenes. Worse yet...the number of people that have accepted this double-talking-babble as something tangible is alarming. It's no wonder that NASA is scared - they should be. Obama will take their funding and spread that wealth around to people who have no clue what NASA and the US Space Exploration mission is, let alone that it even exists. As R.E.M. said: "It's the end of the world as we know it...". But I don't feel fine at all.

I'm thrilled that we have finally elected a leader who recognizes the flawed priorities of our nation, typified by the fact that NASA has received an average of $16.5 billion annually for the past 50 years while important programs like education, housing, and health care have been severely neglected. Sending a few people to the moon is not nearly as important as educating future generations and insuring that the basic needs of our people are being met. If the brilliant minds at NASA want billions of dollars every year, they should refocus their vision away from the heavens and towards Earth, where their ingenuity and funding could create lasting change. Imagine the long-term benefits of spending $16 billion more dollars per year developing sustainable technologies. Then, in the future, we may be able to explore space as a healthy nation with priorities that reflect and advance our noble intentions.

Why is Obama destroying N.A.S.A?

I'm not quite sure I understand cause some legends have it that NASA is already controlled by international interests, the same ones that are influencing Mr. Obummer.

NASA I don't think would endorse a notion such as climate change, which is nothing more than giving money to third world countries for socialistic reasons.

My only assumption is that he would be taking money from NASA in order to socialize its' purpose, but conveniently for reasons of breaking the linkage between reality and the New World Order. If Mr. Obummer takes out a source of truth then there wouldn't be anyone or anything that he thinks can contest him. If we take away major undertakings such as the exploration of space, then we won't have this intuitive knowledge that continues on and on. Instead, we would have to be led anywhere that Mr. Brainwash wants to take us. Instead of the exploration of space and all things scientific, it will be more of the exploitation of all people and all things.

Now about your use of the words destroying NASA, the reality here would be that Obummer is going to destroy everything; make no mistake about that. He is part of the group that helped destroy the World Trade Center. So if he destroys one more thing, and then another, and yet another, there won't be much difference, but this stupid little notion of making everything the same, while one person has everything. His reputation so far of destroying things leaves little to the imagination. Man's attempts at universalism usually always fails, but not without taking everything out doing it.
